Third tier locks in tight with zero wobble, and the heavy-gauge steel makes the whole setup feel like one solid piece. Bolted this extra level onto my existing rack and the heavy-duty frame didn't flex at all during my first session. Takes up barely any floor space, which is exactly what I needed for adding more storage without a bigger footprint.
