Body-Solid Olympic Adapter Sleeve - 8 tum

The hex bolt lock-down is solid—no wobble even with heavy plates sliding on and off. Eight inches is the perfect length for my dumbbell handles, and the nylon sleeve feels tough enough to last years.

I use these on a cheap old standard barbell to load up my Olympic plates, and the 8-inch length gives me plenty of room to add weight without crowding the collars. The nylon sleeve hasn't budged or worn after a few months of weekly deadlifts, and the hex bolt keeps everything tight.

I was worried the lock-down mechanism might feel flimsy, but that hex bolt cinches down rock solid with zero wobble during my lifts. The 8-inch length gives me plenty of room for weight changes too. Exactly what I needed to bridge my old plates to the newer bar.
