Fat grips finally force me to slow down and actually engage my lats instead of yanking the weight. The knurling is surprisingly comfortable for such a thick bar, and it fits the carabiner on my cable machine without any play.

The thicker grips on this lat bar really force my forearms to work harder than with my old straight bar, and it feels solid even at heavy stack weights. The angled handles hit my lats from a slightly different path that I'm already feeling the next day.

The rubber coating on these fat grips gives a solid, secure hold even with sweaty hands, and the wider diameter really lights up my forearms on pulldowns. Took a couple sessions to get used to the reduced grip strength, but now it's a staple in my back day rotation.
