The rubber lining grips the bar tightly enough that I don't worry about it shifting mid-set, and the whole pair feels rock solid on the rack uprights. They were a simple bolt-on install. Way better than the flimsy factory cups that came with my setup.
Welding on these is clean and the rubber padding feels sturdier than my old set, so racking a loaded bar is solid every time. They sit flush on the uprights without any wobble, which is exactly what I needed for the heavier squats.
