The hex bolt lock-down really holds those plates tight—no shifting mid-set, which is exactly what I needed. Swapping my old 1-inch plates onto this 14-inch sleeve took about two minutes and now everything feels solid on the bar.
My old standard plates used to wobble on the rack, but this sleeve locks down tight with the hex bolt and I can load up the 2-inch plates without any shifting. The nylon feels durable and the 14-inch length gives me plenty of room for my biggest bumpers.
